Magnesium Refinement by Laser

Laser can concentrates energy in time and space. By this concentration, it can move the pet-bottle containing water even with only 5W similar to Flash Lump. Water is splashed out by irradiation of laser, the pet-bottle moves in reaction to this evaporation.

This can also be effective for magnesium refinement.

Magnesium Refinement Experiment by Laser

Using the laser for refinement seems to be very expensive. Estimating the cost, however, is not so expensive even with present devices. It is well known that semiconductor becomes very cheap once mass production starts.​
